What is the Esetrix Stripe Connect integration?

The Esetrix Stripe Connect integration is a native, first-party payments connector built into Esetrix marketplace infrastructure. It covers split payments and application fees at the moment of capture, Stripe-hosted onboarding for Express, Standard, and Custom connected accounts, global payment methods, multi-currency cross-border settlement, Stripe Radar fraud and risk, disputes and chargebacks, multi-supplier refunds, and automated transfers and payouts to supplier connected accounts. Marketplace operators run end to end on one ledger shared between Esetrix and Stripe, and typically launch in 4 to 6 weeks with no payments engineering team required.

Capabilities

Every marketplace payment flow, handled by Stripe. Orchestrated by Esetrix.

Split payments, connected-account onboarding, global payment methods, multi-currency, fraud, disputes, refunds, transfers, and reconciliation. All native, all reconciled to a single marketplace ledger.

Split payments at the transaction
Every marketplace order is split between the marketplace operator and supplier connected accounts at the moment of capture. Application fees, commission, and supplier transfers are calculated against the rules configured in Esetrix and executed natively on Stripe.
Stripe-hosted supplier onboarding
Suppliers onboard through Stripe-hosted onboarding with KYC, tax ID collection, beneficial ownership, and bank account verification handled by Stripe. Status syncs back to Esetrix so only verified suppliers go live on the marketplace.
Global payment methods
Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, SEPA direct debit, ACH, iDEAL, Bancontact, Klarna, and Afterpay. The marketplace turns on the methods relevant to its customer base and Esetrix configures the checkout accordingly.
Multi-currency and cross-border
Accept in 135+ presentment currencies, settle in the marketplace's currency, pay out to connected accounts in theirs. Stripe handles the FX, and Esetrix reconciles presentment, settlement, and payout amounts back to every order.
3DS2 and Stripe Radar
Strong Customer Authentication through 3DS2 with exemptions applied where permitted. Radar ML-driven fraud scoring, velocity rules, and device signals are wired into the marketplace checkout from day one.
Chargebacks and disputes
Dispute notifications from Stripe flow into Esetrix, route to the responsible supplier, and place a hold on the disputed amount against their next transfer. Evidence is collected through the supplier workflow and submitted back to Stripe for representment.
Split refunds, orchestrated
Full, partial, and line-level refunds are handled through the marketplace workflow. Esetrix recalculates the split, reverses the transfer, and issues the refund so the customer, the supplier ledger, and the application fee reconcile in one reconciled operation.
Automated transfers and payouts
Transfer schedules, reserves, minimum thresholds, and hold periods are enforced per supplier or per segment. Stripe executes payouts to connected-account external bank accounts on schedule. Statements are generated automatically.
Reconciliation and reporting
Stripe balance transactions, charges, transfers, refunds, and disputes flow into Esetrix and reconcile against every order, commission, and payout. Finance teams work from one ledger across the full marketplace lifecycle.
Architecture

How data flows between Stripe Connect and your Esetrix-powered marketplace.

Stripe owns payment processing, connected-account verification, and settlement. Esetrix owns the marketplace rules: splits, commission, transfers, refunds, and reconciliation. The two stay in lockstep through a native, event-driven integration.

One ledger, not two systems to reconcile. Splits, refunds, disputes, and payouts are recorded against the same charge at the same time in Stripe and in Esetrix. Finance teams work from one source of truth.
Implementation

Four steps from Stripe Connect contract to marketplace live.

Esetrix runs the integration end to end against the marketplace's Stripe Connect platform account. No payments engineering team required.

01
Connect the marketplace Stripe account
Authorise the Esetrix connector against the marketplace's Stripe Connect platform account. Esetrix provisions webhook endpoints, event subscriptions, and reporting feeds. No payments engineering required on the marketplace side.
02
Configure splits, fees, and payment methods
Define application fees, commission, reserves, and transfer cadence per supplier segment. Select the payment methods to offer at checkout. Esetrix writes the configuration into Stripe and surfaces it in the marketplace admin for ongoing control.
03
Launch supplier onboarding
Suppliers complete Stripe-hosted onboarding through a branded link launched from the Esetrix supplier portal. KYC, tax ID, ownership, and bank verification are handled by Stripe. Status flows back so verified suppliers go live automatically.
04
Go live. Payments and transfers flow end to end
Orders authorise, capture, and split on Stripe. Refunds and disputes route through the marketplace workflow. Payout and balance transaction feeds reconcile against every order and every supplier transfer.

Questions

What marketplace operators usually ask about the Stripe Connect connector.

Yes. The marketplace signs up as a Stripe Connect platform so the payments relationship, balance, and reporting sit with the marketplace operator. Esetrix configures and operates the integration against that platform account. The Esetrix team can introduce marketplaces to Stripe's enterprise team where useful.
