Marketplace payments, splits, and supplier payouts. Native on Adyen.

Esetrix ships with a native Adyen for Platforms connector. Customer payments, split settlement, supplier KYC and onboarding, chargebacks, refunds, and payouts run end to end on Adyen and reconcile into a single marketplace ledger. No bespoke payments engineering. No stitched-together reports.

What is the Esetrix Adyen for Platforms integration?

The Esetrix Adyen for Platforms integration is a native, first-party payments connector built into Esetrix marketplace infrastructure. It covers split payments per supplier at the moment of capture, Adyen-hosted supplier KYC and onboarding, 50+ global payment methods, multi-currency settlement, RevenueProtect fraud and risk, disputes and chargebacks, multi-supplier refunds, and automated payouts to supplier balance accounts. Marketplace operators run end to end on one ledger shared between Esetrix and Adyen, and typically launch in 4 to 6 weeks from contract with no systems integrator required.

Capabilities

Every marketplace payment flow, handled by Adyen. Orchestrated by Esetrix.

Split payments, supplier onboarding, global payment methods, multi-currency, fraud, disputes, refunds, payouts, and reconciliation. All native, all reconciled to a single marketplace ledger.

Split payments at the transaction
Every marketplace order is split between the marketplace operator and the supplier accounts at authorisation. Commission, fees, and supplier payouts are calculated against the rules configured in Esetrix and executed natively in Adyen.
Supplier KYC and onboarding
Suppliers onboard through Adyen's Hosted Onboarding with KYC, AML, and ownership verification handled end to end. Status is tracked inside Esetrix, with blocked suppliers held out of payout runs automatically.
Global payment methods
Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, Bancontact, Klarna, PayPal, SEPA, and local methods. The marketplace turns on the methods relevant to its customer base, and Esetrix configures the checkout accordingly.
Multi-currency pricing and capture
Accept payments in the customer's currency, capture in the marketplace's, and settle to suppliers in theirs. FX is handled natively by Adyen and reconciled back into the marketplace's reporting.
3DS2 and RevenueProtect
Strong Customer Authentication handled through 3DS2 with exemptions applied where permitted. RevenueProtect fraud scoring, velocity rules, and device risk are wired into the checkout out of the box.
Chargebacks and disputes
Dispute notifications from Adyen flow into Esetrix, route to the right supplier, and pause their next payout for the disputed amount. Representment evidence is collected through the supplier workflow and submitted back to Adyen.
Split refunds, orchestrated
Full and partial refunds are handled through the marketplace workflow. Esetrix recalculates the split and issues the refund through Adyen so the customer, the supplier ledger, and the marketplace fee all reconcile in one operation.
Automated supplier payouts
Payouts run on the cadence the marketplace configures. Hold periods, reserves, and minimum payout thresholds are enforced per supplier. Statements and remittance advices are generated automatically.
Reconciliation and reporting
Adyen settlement reports flow into Esetrix and reconcile against orders, commission, refunds, disputes, and payouts. Finance teams get one ledger across the full marketplace lifecycle, not a stack of exports to stitch together.
Architecture

How data flows between Adyen and your Esetrix-powered marketplace.

Adyen owns payment processing, supplier verification, and settlement. Esetrix owns the marketplace rules: splits, commission, payouts, refunds, and reconciliation. The two stay in lockstep through a native, event-driven integration.

  • Orders and payment intent
  • Split rules per supplier
  • Customer and billing data
  • Refund and cancellation requests
  • Payout schedules and reserves
  • Supplier onboarding status

  • Settlement reports for reconciliation
One ledger, not two systems to reconcile. Splits, refunds, disputes, and payouts are recorded against the same transaction at the same time in Adyen and in Esetrix. Finance teams work from one source of truth.
Implementation

Four steps from Adyen contract to marketplace live.

Esetrix runs the integration end to end against the marketplace's Adyen for Platforms contract. No payments engineering team required.

01
Connect the marketplace Adyen account
Authorise the Esetrix connector with the marketplace's Adyen for Platforms credentials. Esetrix provisions the webhook subscriptions, notification endpoints, and reporting feeds. No custom development required on the marketplace side.
02
Configure split rules and payment methods
Define commission, fees, reserves, and payout cadence per supplier segment. Select the payment methods to offer at checkout. Esetrix writes the configuration into Adyen and surfaces it in the marketplace admin for ongoing control.
03
Launch supplier onboarding
Suppliers complete Adyen's Hosted Onboarding through a branded link. KYC, AML, and ownership verification are handled by Adyen. Status flows back into Esetrix so verified suppliers go live and blocked suppliers stay off payout runs.
04
Go live. Payments and payouts flow end to end
Orders authorise, capture, and split on Adyen. Refunds and disputes route through the marketplace workflow. Settlement reports reconcile automatically against every order and every supplier payout.

Questions

What marketplace operators usually ask about the Adyen connector.

Yes. The marketplace signs directly with Adyen for Platforms so the payments and payout relationship sits with the marketplace operator. Esetrix configures and operates the integration against that contract. The Esetrix team introduces marketplaces to Adyen's enterprise team where useful.
